The AG800 is the Airgle model that I tested. Boy I will say it is super powerful. Don't have any papers near it or they will blow across the room.
This is the strongest air purifier I have found. If I needed to purify quickly or had lots of air leaks in the house, this one can probably compensate for it. Its like buying 2 purifiers but having both buillt into one. Its that powerful. Its like having a 16 cup most expensive Cuisinart foot processor when you can get by with a 8 cup smaller one. The power is there if you need it.
Its loud but not loud for the power it has but on low its sound is quiet low for the power. The bigger motor allows it the motor to work less hard. The smaller motors moving the same amount of air have to work harder and the motor has to make more rotations per second to give the same air output.
It does come with a remote. The EMF is negligable as it has a infrared remote. I strongly recommend adding a EMF sticker on all the remotes that are not infrared.
The big grill on the outside traps the big particls so it doesn get inside the filter. Just vaccum that out. When I had mine my girlfriends hairs were always clogging it up. This can screw up a filter if the grill is not right. Once a month I vaccum the grill. This is the one my parents use and they never vaccum it. They are lazy and every time I go there I have to do it. Why should I get people gifts if they dont take care of it.
Just like the TRACS air purier, this company also has passed the laser test. The Airgle also is known for their secure seals so no pollutants leak out the filter seals. It does not have the UV like the Tracs models but every one has its own pros and cons. The power is much greater on this one which many people want. The UV only is wanted by those that need it. This is great for people that I don't think need the UV based on the air they are purifying. The frame is aluminum which can be infused. Some are stainless steal and others are plastic. Aluminum works while stainless steal cannot be. This is good for those with EMF sensativities who want to place this purifier by their bedside or going to be walking by it often. Each time the voltage of the body can go down. Its like some people stand in front of a microwave watching their popcorn pop and don't even know to think about theEMF exposure. Having an aluminium casing this thick of gauge is like having a Ferrari but never driving it past 60.
The Airgle is not built in the USA although the owners are based out of New York. Their air purifiers are built in Korea, not China. This is one of the most popular air purifiers in that country also. Beware of buying the Korean models that do not have the full 5 year warranty in the USA. If anyoen sees any auction sites selling Korean versions let me know. The warranties are not transferrable from that country. The manuals are aslo written in Korean too.
The Airgle 800 model is rated at 530 cmf which is probably the highest out of all the air purifers out there. The amperage of this motor must be so high. It has a brushless motor that doesnt make as much noise forthis power either.
This is the opposite of the Aireox minimalistic type. Their are graphical displays that measure the filter life based on its sensors. It even tells you the air qualiity based on the air output setting that lets you know how pure the air is coming out. Thge filters will notify it and make the fan slow down or speed up based on the purity level you want automatically. The Airgle purifier has some type of sensor that tells it the air quality entering the purifier. The purifer can start on high and when you get home it can be turned down low automatically because there is no need for it to be jacked up high if the room is more purified.
When I had the 800 model. I kept it on auto mode. It worked great and it is one of my favorite purifiers if I want somethign this advanced.
What is cool about this oen is that you can also dim the lights on it so you dont have a bright blue light lightening up the whole room at night while I sleep. This can be turned down. The Aireox for example, cant.
The Airgle 800 is now in my top 5 selling models I carry. If you think you don't need the UV as you don't have bacteria and viruses in the air, let me know on my quiz. This beats almost every player out there as long as if UV is not needed. Take my quiz and I will let you know if I think you need this super powerful model.
PS. The Airgle name means "Great Level of Efficiency, the gle part. I like it for larger rooms unlike the smaller models that have a lower puriication rate. They are Energy Star rated also. The company has invited me to come to their offices and warehouses and has given me permission to review and do any type of test with their purifier. Airpura and Airgle were the first two after months of asking to review their product. They offered me a free model on loan but I do not take free models as on my last site people think that I only promote companies that give me free air purfiers. Actually, I get 2 or 3 emails monthly from new companies asking me if I want to test one of their purifiers and they offer to send me a free air purifier. I dont take loans nor freebies.
