Oransi is one of the newer generation of air purifiers. With their 19 decibel sounding purifiers and super thick Hepa filters they use (a foot thick), they lead most of the competition with Pure Air, the model that has really cought my interest (it is on my 2. which). The Oransi's biggest competitors in the super high end market (AirPura and Pure Air) is equally as good but I will have to say different. Each have their own pros and cons but what one person doesnt mind the other person might not buy it because of that. For example, the Airgle is super high end but cheaper probably because of its a little noisier.

The Oransi has a much higher end component system and its enineering is much different than most of the other high end models out there. 19 decibels is super quiet, almost as quiet as the Blue Air.

The seals on their systems are super tight. They have a very different technique to put a seal around their Hepa filter so air doesn't leak. They claim zero leaks just like the TRACS claims. Aftr taking it apart, I would have to agree. It does pass the Laser test also.

The Oransi is dffererent than the Pure Air in that you can stack different filters in it. On some of their models it has a built in sensor that lets it know when to turn up the speed to purify more. Totally digital but not in all their models. It has a high end UV lamp like the TRACS brand. They do have a 10 year warranty whichwith their motor is probably why as its a super efficient motor. Most motors burn out whe nteh copper windings oxidize.

The Oransi purifier also is approved for CE standards along with GS and ETL. Many companies have 2 of the 3 standards for safety. It also complies with RoHS which is 4 that it has passed.

The only con is that the frame is plastic. But it is ABS plastic which is super strong, not the cheap plastic ones. But the nly thing is that you cant infuse plastic. That is probably the only thing that I don't like about the Oransi. But if someone doesn't care about infusing it, then its not. I infuse almost everything I can that has to do with electronics or at least infuse the outside but it is always better to infuse the frame of the purifier, not just adding it to it. It takes a lot of adding to get the same strength as if it was infused.

The plastic makes it lightweight and that is one thing that many people ask for as they need something they can move from one room to another. They re also known for their materials inside the purifier that are light weight. The parts in side are much lighter than any other purifier and also nothing to leach for chemical sensitive people.

It is another one of the Energy star rated motels that has passed for energy conservation. This is even with the huge resistance of their 12 inch foot thick Hepa filters. Their German motors are very quiet in moving air through this much resistance at its low noise levels. It is kinda shocking that they are that quiet by the way.

They are made in tthe USA for anyone who is curious. No Chinese import motors.

The Oransi brand is one of the companies that does not advertise and I did not hear about them for at least 2 years after I built this site. ONe of my customers asked me why the Oransi Purifier is not on my site. I said I never heard of them. I bought one to see if it was any good. Their every part is molded in the USA not just assembled here. Theres was one of the few companies that do not use Chinese motors. They have one of the converted motors where the AC power is converted to DC so it saves about 90% of the power bill. Their motors are made in Germany.

NEWEST INFO: ORANSI BASES THEIR CFU RATING WITH THE HEPA INSIDE. Beware of companies rating their air flow rate without the Hepa or Carbon inside.. Such pisses me off that I need to cool down before I write anymore. Seriously.

CFM VS CFU????

SUPER SCAM WATCH- BIG TIME SCAM- JUST UNCOVERED - NOW I NEED TO RETEST EVERYTHING.
SEE THIS VIDEO- THE WAY I BUSTED THEM LYING TO ME
CFM VS Phony CFM -know this and don't get scammed!!!!!

The most disturbing thing I found out is that the CFU rate, such as one purifier claiming 500 CFU. The one that is 450 CFU for the same price is probably not going to be the one that is gonna be be sold. The actual delivered "output) 500 CFU that the factories rate them at is the rate of air flow without the carbon or HEPA filters in it. Its called PHONY CFU. The Hepa filter adds the most resistance and the carbon adds more resistance. I talked to one reviewer, he called it FREE FLOW rate. Its the rate with just the motor and the blower. How messed up is this. I came up with a video how I found 2 machines that had the same CFU of 500. I wanted to see in one hour which one would suck in the most air and blow out the most. I went to the over 20 laundry mats in new york city (yes, almost every block there is a laundry mat) and got bags full of lint (one lady thought I was a pervert for asking for her lint while she was folding her clothes). She said, "do you want my panties too?. She told me to get lost. Get the F… out of this place.
So, I got the so much lint (and I went to vacuum stores and got bags of dust from old vacuums needing to get repaired). I bought 4 big fans. Dumped everything out in the garbage. Turned on the extension cord and came back in an hour. The entire garage was exchanged and when I got back. I looked at the filters and sure enough. one of them was totally dirty and the other not nearly half as dirty.
Also, another thing. The ones that claim 500 CFU, ask the if its based on a 50Hz outlet or a 60Hz outlet. The CFU rating goes down about 20% if its a 50Hz. So know what your outlet is so you know if you are really getting a 500 CFU purifier.
I do want to say that I don't think its cool hwo the owners of these companies left all of this "inside information out". I talked to the owners of these companies and they are so nice. They knew I was researching airpurifers. Its like they didn't think I would find out sooner or later. They could actually talk to me knowing they knew something that they could tell me. I will find out everything. Its just a matter of time.

See my updated Clash of the Titans page. After reviewing their filter with actual CFU rate and not Phony CFU that is made up to make me think that the air puriifier is really that powerful.
