Air purifiers with AC motors usually can make the highest EMF. Even DC motors that use an AC outlet have some EMF. Some might have more than others but EMF is not an issue with AC motors as long as it is grounded with an EMF blocker that transmutes the frequencies before they reach the body. Just like you probably wouldn't want to sit next to the engine on an airplane that gives the most EMF than anything on Earth that you would probably experience, you don't want an air purifier that produces EMF right next to your bed in your room. The people who are already sick and have low energy are the ones who usually complain about it. Usually when people have a body voltage level under average they complain. Anyone can go to Radio Shack and get a tester to test this for themselves.

Very few air purifier companies state their EMF rating as it is not often a topic that comes up in a sales call. But, if they did I am sure it would spook a few people. Many models can have shields but with high EMF motors but that is only temporary as the shields lose their power of blocking or transmuting EMF over time. Better motors don't need these shields. Many people are ok with the radiation that comes from a cell phone. If your purifier doesn't have a shield then as long as you don't notice lower energy when having your cell phone with you all day without a protector then you might not be concerned with EMF. Again, you can always go to Radio Shack and test to see if the EMF from your cell phone or even sleeping next to the air purifier one night and not the other changes the read out. The meters only cost about 15 dollars.

Although DC motors are more expensive to manufacturer than AC motors, it might not be a concern if you are shielded. Please do not think I am against AC motors. I try to find the best purifier for the type of air and will only consider EMF protection if someone requests. I will not try to spook someone and push them towards a model that does not have EMF. I am not here to add more scare tactics to make you buy a brand that you didn't ask for. My structure is to purify your air. Not Hype and gimmicks.
