What to ask before buying an air purifiction system

To avoid buying based on sales pitches and distracting questions, this page will help.

I My FIRST rule is that I never buy the first time I talk to a dealer on the phone and especially if they ask me personal questions about my health. I doubt they care about my health and are just trying to find a health concern they can sell me something for. This is not a relationship. They forget you once the sale is over. I only ask questions that are relevant to the air purifier I need. If the salesperson starts acting like he or she is my best friend, I will hang up IMMEDIATELY. They don't care about me. They prey on finding my weaknesses and neediness. They will flirt with you if they think you will buy that way too.

Question 1:
Does yours make structured air?
IF THEY DON'T UNDERSTAND THE QUESTION, HANG UP. THIS IS THE QUICKEST WAY TO
KNOW IF YOUR DEALER KNOWS ABOUT RESTRUCTURED AND PURIFIED AIR.
"Many air companies use the "buzz word" restructured but really don't even know what it means.
So, ask that first question.

2. Ask if their technology is their own or copied from someone else.
3. Ask if their parts are shared with other companies.
4. Ask which company their components come from as well as where it is put together.
5. Ask what type of air quality should you should expect over time?
6. Ask if they have their own employees or are they a call center. You need to know this for future
customer support.
7. Ask if they buy from the factory or from another distributor who buys from the factory.
8. Ask if their purifier has a USA certification so you know it meets USA safety requirements.
The big certifications are ETL to show it is certified for fire saftey and ROHL so you know it doesn't leach.
9. Ask how long they have been in the air purification business.
10. Ask if they have a return policy and if you can get a copy of it before you

I CALLED AND GOT NO ANSWERS
I called almost every purifier store. The questions I hd were not the typical questions most buyers have. They thought I was trying to prank call them with the questions like wanting to know the EMF output, the pH of their carbon in their filters, when the carbon was activated. A lot of them hung up on me, and the other dealers said to read the manufacture site. they often asked me whats with all my questions. I got fed up and had to do it myself. All i wanted to do is buy an air purifier. I had no intention of getting into this business. I sold shower filters and learned about different types of carbon and filters. Why do they have to get an attitude because I am asking tougher questions. I love when people ask me these types of questions cuz it makes me know people read my site. The allergy specialists never answered my technical questions but they knew by hear the specs on each one.

If I am going to work with distributors that I buy from they must not only know the specs and able to answer my questions but strategies on how to pick out the right purifier for someone and have at least 5 years of guidance experience. They have to own the product and not just selling something to make a buck. If a sales person has to go on a website to look up a spec on a product that they manufacture, I hang up. It must be memorized and know it and live it. Its their product. They should know. The companies that do the most advertising or have the most market share were the most secretive in giving me the information I needed.

...because they sold me the wrong one twice
